There are limits to how many numbers we can put in each extension, so we have multiple ones to make sure we can handle all of the nuisance, scam, neighbor scam and custom blocked numbers for each customer. For full functionality of the app they all need to be turned on.
If an extension is having issues being enabled, like the image below, you can troubleshoot this with the steps here: Enable Hiya on iPhone in Settings-Phone-Call Blocking and Identification
To finish setting up Hiya you will need to go back to the Hiya app and tap on the Protect tab along the bottom of the app.
You should enable each toggle on this tab to ensure that you are protected from unwanted calls.
Toggle the Whitelist my contacts option to ensure that your contact phone numbers can reach you.
You should also set up our Neighbor Scam protection. You can learn more about it here. Hiya: iPhone Spoofed Calls / Neighbor Scam
To remove an area code and prefix from the Neighbor Scam Protection, slide the number to the left to see the option to delete.
In the Protect tab, tap on "My Block List" to view, edit, and add to the block list.
You can slide a number to the left to remove it from the block list.

If you tap on the Premium tab along the bottom of the app you will have to option to subscribe to the Premium version of the app.
You can learn more about Hiya Premium here: What is Hiya Premium for iPhone?

You may receive a message it means that the spam database is out of date and has not updated in the last 48 hours. When you get the message you’ll need to open the notification to make sure the update goes through. Even if you do not force close the app there will be times when Apple will disable an app that has been in the background for a while. There is no way around this except to open the app again. You can simply tap on the notification, or open the app, and then press the home button to navigate away from it and the update should still happen.
If you want, you can turn those notifications off in the options tab if you scroll all the way down.
